1. Student enrolled and participating in the UWL EXPAND program
2. Professionalism – demonstrates initiative, punctual and dependable, professional dress per syllabus, accepts feedback, engages in self-assessment.
3. Accountability- identifies acknowledges and accepts responsibility for actions, remedies errors in a timely manner, effective use of time, and resources.
4. Critical Thinking – utilizes problem-solving prior to asking, evidence-based practice, uses the ICF model to establish PT diagnosis/ plan of care.
5. Communication – professional and timely verbal and nonverbal communication, respectful, nonverbal communication consistent with the message, adjusts communication appropriate to the situation.
6. Documentation – written assignments completed per rubric in a timely manner, written assignments are completed without grammatical error, written assignments consist of terminology that is professionally and technically correct

  • Graduate students who are currently enrolled in the DPT program and who are eligible for this scholarship will be auto-matched to this award based on successful completion of general application and DPT conditional application questions
