Bruce & Peggie Riley Endowed Scholarship in Mathematics Education (SOE or CSH)

● Recipient must be enrolled full-time at UWL
● Recipient must be formally admitted or has applied to the School of Education working toward certification in Secondary Mathematics Education.
● Recipient must be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
● Recipient must participate in research in mathematics education, mathematics or statistics, working with a
faculty mentor on a research project relevant to K-12 curriculum during the time the scholarship is being received, and present the results of the project at an appropriate venue (for example, the UWL Celebration of Student Research and Creativity, a Wisconsin Mathematics Council conference, or another professional conference/meeting)
● A letter of support from the faculty mentor for the research project must be submitted with the scholarship application
● Recipient must be a junior or senior
● Financial need may be considered
