Truman T. Lowe Scholarship for Native American Students

• Recipient must be enrolled full-time at UWL.
• Recipient may be a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student. A recipient may also be a beginning or returning adult learner.
• Recipient must be Native American, either enrolled member or descendent of enrolled member (proof of tribal enrollment or parent tribal enrollment to be provided in the form of tribal ID or letter from the Tribe). The first preference is for students that are Ho-Chunk (enrolled or descendants), and the second preference is for students pursuing a degree in the visual arts.
• No minimum GPA is required for new students. Returning students must be in good academic standing in accordance with the University catalog at the time the award is made.
• Scholarship can be extended for up to three additional years for undergraduate students and one additional year for graduate students if all other criteria are met.
