Heidi Gustafson Eldred Study Abroad Scholarship

• Recipient must be enrolled full-time at UW-L
• Recipient must be a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School
• Recipient can be a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior participating in a study abroad program through the UWL Office of International Education and Engagement. Preference to students who are in a semester-long study abroad program.
• Recipient must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Financial need must be considered.
• Statement of financial need must be included. Preference for students that are responsible for at least 50% of their education costs. This must be addressed in the financial need statement on the general application.
• Amount awarded up to $5000 varies based on student’s financial need and the length of the program. Donor prefers to support semester-long study abroad programs.
., Upon completion of the study abroad program the student recipient will initiate a meeting with the donor to discuss their study abroad experience.
