Holly Breitkreutz

Holly Breitkreutz received a B.S. degree in elementary education in 1976. After graduation, Holly took a job at North Fond du Lac Elementary School and taught grades 2-5 from 1976 to 1979. She returned to La Crosse to continue her education and earned an M.S. in College Student Personnel in 1980. She got a job as a financial aid specialist at UW Stevens Point in 1981 and spent her career employed by the UW System. She worked at Stevens Point from 1981-1984 and later at UW Whitewater from 1984-1987. She received a Ph.D. from UW-Madison in 1993 in Education Administration and began working as an Assistant Professor with UW Extension.

She established the Holly Breitkreutz Scholarship in Student Affairs Administration in 2018.
