The Darlene Joan Zielinski Parker Scholarship for Social Justice Fund

  • must be enrolled full time at UW-La Crosse with a major in elementary education
  • must be in good academic standing with above average grade point average
  • must be dedicated to and involved in social justice issues on campus or in their home or La Crosse community
  • will be required to submit a 1-2 page essay describing how she/he would attempt to implement a curriculum addressing racism, sexism and homophobia
  • recipient may be a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior
  • financial need should be considered
