• junior or senior to be enrolled full time
• in even-numbered years (2026-27), recipient will have a major in elementary education; in odd-numbered years (2027-28), recipient will have a major in secondary education
• at least a 3.0 gpa
• financial need should be considered
• in evaluating applicants, the Committee may also consider participation in extracurricular activities
