1. Recipient must be a first-year or continuing student enrolled full-time at UWL with a major in the College of Science & Health
2. Recipient must be a first-generation student
3. Financial need must be considered
4. Recipient must be planning to participate in any of the following CSH programs:
a. urban education experience
b. study abroad for service learning or undergraduate research
c. undergraduate research (not requiring international travel)
d. First Year Research Exposure (FYRE) program
e. McNair Scholars program
f. internship or student teaching (excluding graduate programs)
