Robert & Betty Woodruff Scholarship in Education (SOE)

• freshman, sophomore, junior or senior
• enrolled full time with a major in education, and in good academic standing
• scholarship may be renewed (for no more than four years) for a continuing, qualified recipient
• applicants scored as follows
  1. one point for each year attending the following La Crosse schools
  a. Jefferson Elementary
  b. Logan Middle
  c. Logan High
  2. one point for demonstrated financial need pursuant to UWL criteria
  3. one point for the highest grade point average within the pool of qualified applicants for this scholarship
  4. the qualified applicant with the greatest total number of points shall receive the scholarship
  5. in cases of a tie, the Committee shall use its discretion
