Creative Music (Composition) Scholarship

The new “Creative Music (Composition)” emphasis within the Music Major offers exciting opportunities for young music-makers. The UWL Creative Music (Composition) emphasis is being established to support the enterprise of the creative artists behind the music we hear – those who put the pen to paper or work in a DAW – to help those musical creators and inventors among today’s college-bound students hone their skills, explore new areas of music creation and make connections in the music industry.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Music

Preferred Qualifications:

• Incoming Freshman
• Enrolled in the annual high school music composition contest
• Pursuing an emphasis in creative music composition
