Rada River Studies Center Fellowship for Environmental Studies

• sophomore, junior or senior to be enrolled full time with a recognized STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) major
• above average GPA
• financial need may be considered

• The defining factor of the fellowship is that the student recipient will be provided both of the following: (1) a financial award and (2) and an experiential-learning opportunity involving inland aquatic ecosystems facilitated by a department (unit) within the River Studies Center. Consequently, the Fund shall be used to support a variety of experiential learning opportunities, including but not limited to the activities stated below.
•Undergraduate student research
•Creative activities
•Internships, especially those that are unpaid
•Study away/abroad experiences
•Student leadership experiences
•Community service experiences
