Dr. David R. Howard Endowed Scholarship Fund in Biology
The intent of this scholarship is to recognize a student with promise. Dr. Howard often dropped everything to help a student who came to his office for assistance. This scholarship will not focus on the highest GPA, but rather reward a student who may have had a difficult semester and is working hard to succeed in his/her academic career. The recipient must meet the following criteria:
1) Recipient must be enrolled full-time at UWL with a major in science with a preference to a biology major
3) Recipient must be a sophomore or junior
4) Preference to an applicant who has a cumulative GPA of less than 3.5
5) Preference to an applicant who is a son or daughter of an educator
