William G. Vettes Scholarship in Modern European History (CLS)

• Recipient must be enrolled full-time at UWL with a major or minor in History
• Recipient must be a sophomore, junior or senior
• Recipient must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
• Preference to a student whose focus is on the Balkans and West Asia/Middle East or Modern Europe
• Essay required showing interest in issues related to relationship between Europe and West Asian/ Middle Eastern issues of colonial dominance, immigration or the ideology of “orientalism.”
