Logan Math & Computer Science Scholarship of the La Crosse Community Foundation

  • be a graduate of Logan High School attending UWL NOTE: If no qualified candidate from Logan, scholarship may be awarded to any student who is a secondary Math education major who has been accepted into the program
  • have received a B or better in one of the following classes taken at UWL: MTH 207, MTH 208, C-S 120 or C-S 220 (or the course numbers that replace them in future catalogs) These are calculus and programming classes that count toward a math or computer science major at UW-L
  • one academic letter from a teacher or advisor required
  • a short essay explaining: How you expect to benefit from your educational experience and why you are applying for this scholarship
    If no applicant qualifies under the conditions listed above, the scholarship may be awarded to any student who is a Secondary Math Education major. The student must have already been admitted to the Teacher Education Program.
