Vitaliano Figueroa

Vitaliano Figueroa joined UWL in 2018, assuming the role of Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. During that same year, he established a scholarship to support graduate students pursuing a career in student affairs administration.

Vitaliano is originally from the East Coast and was born in New York. He proudly identifies as a first-generation student. His motivation to engage in student affairs stemmed from his desire to assist students in achieving success, inspired by the support he received from others. Figueroa stated, “I always said that if I were given the chance to contribute to the success of other students, I would seize that opportunity and pay it forward.” He looks forward to supporting students at UWL.
