Neala Frye
Neala P. Frye passed away tragically from hypothermia at the young age of 23 on February 17, 2013. She was in her senior year at the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse where she was on the board of directors for the American Marketing Association and was the Director of Advertising.
She was born June 17, 1989 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of John Frye and Roxanne (Ruppert) Weeden. Neala was a 2007 graduate of Evansville High School where she was the captain of the Pom Pom Squad her senior year and a member of FFA (Future Farmers of America).
Neala was so full of life and had a very unique personality. She is loved by so many people. Neala loved the animals in her life especially her loving dogs, Jay and Duke. You didn’t need to spend a lifetime with Neala to love her; you only needed a couple of hours. Neala enjoyed working out and loved being with her friends and making people laugh.
Impact
Neala’s family and friends established this scholarship to support students in the College of Business at UWL. This is a lasting memorial to Neala.
