Kenneth & Marilyn Buresh

This scholarship is created in honor of the donor’s (Kenneth and Marilyn Buresh) daughter, Ellen Buresh Finch, a 1977 graduate in Mass Communications at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Ellen is currently the Account Service Director at AVS Group.

Ellen’s expertise is devoted to the areas of sales and account service. With the rest of the AVS Group team, she helps foster win-win client relationships and serve as a liaison between clients and internal staff. She is involved in business development for both new and existing accounts, working to uncover needs and helping to plan long-term strategic and project-specific solutions.

With nearly four decades of business development and customer retention efforts in the broadcast advertising and marketing agency arena, Ellen has been able to share creative ideas, strategies, and measurable solutions with countless B2B and B2C businesses and organizations.

Ellen continues to do outreach with meeting planners and those individuals within corporations and associations who are involved in planning/producing annual conferences and larger scope meetings. Many regional businesses simply aren’t aware of the scope of services we offer with one of our core service offerings – Meeting & Event Technology.
