Douglas Carnes

Clark Carnes dedicated scholarships to his sons, Douglas and Scott, and his late wife, Genevieve.

Douglas Carnes was an English major graduating with the class of 1972. His scholarship was started in 1976 and is awarded to a student who works for WLSU, the university radio station. The Scott Carnes scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Physics or Archaeology.

Genevieve Carnes, class of 1936, was the woman’s physical education director for the Appleton and Neenah high schools. Her portion of the scholarship is for students majoring in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
