Bridget Belgiovine

Excellence, opportunity and diversity are hallmarks of athletics at the University of Wisconsin- Lac Crosse. Our success rests upon the shoulders of strong leaders and exceptional student-athletes. One such leader, Bridget Belgiovine, Athletic Director from 1991 to 1998, deserves special recognition for her contributions to UW-L’s tradition of excellence in athletics. For that purpose, the Bridget Belgiovine Scholarship Fund in Sports Administration was establish with the UW-L Foundation.

Sports Administration is a graduate program at UW-L. This is an area of particular passion and commitment of Bridget Belgiovine. With the NCAA in Indianapolis, Bridget believes in and promotes the model of the student-athlete and the importance of training administrators to wisely manage monetary, physical and human resources. Bridget would be the first to say that athletics is all about life and learning- and, by the way, winning is not a bad thing either!

Bridget is currently the Director of Athletics/Chair PERA at Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA.
